HWMonitor is not designed in a way that automatically alerts you if anything goes wrong on your PC. You just have to keep an eye on things yourself. Another drawback is that it is not a system tray app. The readings are more accurate because it detects CPU Temp which is an actual temperature and is more accurate at low temp but less at high.
